Over Labor Day weekend, Road America roared to life for one of the marquee events on the PCA Club Racing calendar: TRAC – The Road America Challenge. Held from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1, this high-octane gathering was hosted by the PCA Chicago Region and featured a dynamic mix of racing formats, including Enduro, Clubsport, and the thrilling Triple Trofeo series. Porsche drivers from across the country descended on the track to compete in a wide range of race-prepped machines.
Among the featured competitors was Geoff Isringhausen, representing Isringhausen Motorsports. Geoff’s enduring commitment to Porsche racing was recognized with a special tribute from the PCA Chicago Region, honoring his many years of participation and support. Also representing Isringhausen Motorsports were Geoff Isringhausen Jr. and Cory Libka.
A Legendary Venue: Road America
Nestled in the rolling hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine region, just outside the village of Elkhart Lake, Road America remained a motorsports icon. Known as “America’s National Park of Speed,” this four-mile circuit continued to be celebrated worldwide for its challenging layout and scenic beauty. With over 450 events held annually, Road America hosted everything from professional racing series to club competitions, driving schools, and family-friendly festivals.
