There’s a new chapter in Porsche motorsport. Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) and Porsche Club of America (PCA) have joined forces to create a single-make racing series: the Porsche Sprint Trophy PCA by Yokohama. Debuting in 2026, this dedicated championship will be integrated into PCA’s Club Racing calendar, offering enthusiasts and racers alike a thrilling new arena.
A New Rung in the Motorsport Pyramid
The Sprint Trophy is designed as both a destination for PCA racers and a steppingstone within Porsche’s North American Motorsport pyramid. By bridging grassroots competition with higher professional levels, it provides a structured path for drivers aiming to elevate their racing careers.
Factory-Level Support
Unlike typical club racing, PMNA’s engineering and marketing presence will bring factory-level backing to participants. This elevates the series with professional oversight, ensuring racers benefit from Porsche’s expertise and resources.
Celebrating Community and Talent Development
This initiative reflects Porsche’s broader strategy of nurturing customer racing at every level—from grassroots PCA events to Carrera Cup and beyond. It’s both a celebration of Porsche’s loyal community and a pipeline for future talent.
