The MDK Motorsports team had a strong showing last week at Sebring International Speedway (March 13-15) , the first stop in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Championship. MDK driver Gustav Burton took the checkered flag in the Pro Class, and his teammate Dan Clarke finished ninth in a car co-sponsored by Isringhausen Imports. MDK Motorsports promises to be a significant force in the 2024 Carrera Cup season. The Ohio-based racing team is campaigning six cars, spanning three different classes. Mark Kvamme, the team founder and two-time Masters class champion, will be joined by five new team members.

“I’m completely thrilled about our 2024 line-up and really looking forward to kicking off the championship [at Sebring.],” Kvamme said. “Between the six cars, we completed 1,945 miles of running at the pre-season test, and I think we are kicking off this year’s championship in a very strong position.

The next event in the 2024 Carrera Cup season will be May 3-5 at the Miami International Autodrome.
