Isringhausen Imports, a name long associated with high-performance vehicles, is a proud sponsor of driver Dan Clarke's MDK Motorports car in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America racing series. Isringhausen joins OrthoIndy Hospital, Reis-Nichols Jewelers, and others in sponsoring the silver, green, and yellow Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
The 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America schedule includes 16 rounds spread across eight race weekends. The season begins in mid-March at Sebring International Raceway in Florida. For the first time ever, the Porsche Carrera Cup championship will take place at twilight during the Sebring race. The race will conclude in darkness, creating a stunning backdrop for the first round of the championship.
About the Driver
Originally from Maidenhead, England, driver Dan Clarke (39) now calls the racing mecca of Indianapolis, Indiana, his home. Dan has had racing in his blood since 2000, when he finished fourth in the British TKM Kart Championships. Since then, he's competed in multiple championships in Europe and North America, becoming the 2012 Intercontinental Trophy Cup Porsche Cayman Series Champion, winning 12 of 12 races!
Other career highlights include serving as a NASCAR Nationwide Series driver for Jimmy Means Racing in 2011 at Watkins Glen, NY. Dan also was a Firestone Indy Lights driver for Walker Racing in 2010, notching second place finishes in the Toronto Grand Prix and at Mid-Ohio.
