Porsche Club of America has produced an excellent video (above) comparing and contrasting the 718 Cayman GT4 RS road car and the GT4 RS Clubsport track car. In the 53-minute video, PCA Executive Director Vu Nguyen and Mike Levitas, the founder of TPC Racing, take a deep dive into both vehicles, highlighting their similarities and differences.
The upshot: Mike says the Clubsport is essentially the road car version that has been "massaged" for track use by lowering the ride height and making other minor changes. That's because the GT4 RS is a highly trackable car in its own right despite being street-legal.
Mr. Levitas calls the GT4 RS a "true driver's car" and says it's his favorite vehicle of all time. His enthusiasm for both the Clubsport and the GT4 RS is immediately apparent, making the video highly enjoyable to watch.
