This weekend we were thrilled to partake in the events at Watkins Glen hosted by Zone 1 Porsche Club of America. The PCA Zone 1 Porsche Clash At The Glen Event was held over Saturday and Sunday. Watkins Glen is a legendary track with an equally impressive history.
Watkins Glen International was established on the streets of Watkins Glen, NY in 1948 and is North America’s premier racing facility. The Glen has a long and storied past from its Formula 1 roots to its position as New York’s only home to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Porsche Cayman popularity has spiked in PCA racing recently. PCA has a class called GTB1 where race-prepped Caymans can easily fit in. In fact, it has now become the largest class in PCA racing with 32 Caymans entered for the event at Watkins Glen. This made for some very intense competition.
Isringhausen Motorsports in partnership with BILT Racing a total of 5 cars with drivers including our very own Geoff Isringhausen and Geoff Isringhausen Jr.
